Bugfix for anyone running Hubzilla on dev

Everybody running dev branch at version 4.7 should update to latest version, restart php-fpm (or apache) and run this sql query:

delete from xconfig where cat = 'sse' and xchan = '';

This is due to a bug in sse where in some situations the notifications were not saved correctly.

Nothing serious but should be done sooner rather than later...

Hubzilla 4.6RC Released!
If you installed Hubzilla via git and running master branch, you are only a git checkout 4.6RC away from the next Hubzilla release. Make sure to also git checkout 4.6RC the addons if you decide to join the release candidate testing.

You are invited to provide feedback in form of bug reports or merge requests on issues you might find.

You can follow the progress of release candidate testing in this wiki. Please PM me for wiki write-access if desired.

For the changelog please have a look at the git history for now.
A condensed summary will follow with the Hubzilla 4.6 release announcement.

Hubzilla 4.4 Released!
Another exciting release with new additions, some bug fixes and overall improvements.

The calendar app now has clickable week/day numbers. Clicking the number will open the appropriate week/day view. Events can easily be adjusted by using the drag and drop functionality. It is now possible to enter the date and time in different formats if this method of setting the event start and end time is preferred. Opengraph meta has been added to the channel pages. Search engines will now hopefully provide better infos about channels.

The twitter addon has been improved to better render posts. The pubcrawl addon, which provides the activitypub protocol, has received new features (thread completion, delete activity) and some bug fixes. The queueworker addon has been refactored for better efficiency. Also the photocache addon has been improved.

Under the hood, besides numerous bugfixes, we started the first little steps towards making zot6 the primary protocol for Hubzilla.

Upgrade info
In case you attended the RC testing, remember to git checkout master your repositories prior to the upgrade.

1. Execute util/udall from the web root (this will execute git pull for all repositories).
2. Install the upgrade info addon if you have not done so yet (optional). This will show some info about the upgrade to your community members.

Hubzilla 4.2 Released!
Some of the most notable changes in Hubzilla 4.2 are

Calendar App
The Events and CalDAV frontends have been merged and streamlined. The Events and CalDAV apps have been deprecated in favour of the Calendar app which now comprehends both.

Reply to comments
If the feature is enabled from the conversation tools (item drop down menu), it is now possible to directly reply to comments. The timeline view will remain flattened in the Hubzilla stream. In Friendica and Mastodon this kind of comments will appear beneath the commented comment.

Administration
An admin option to store photo thumbnails on disk instead of DB has been implemented. This will reduce DB load and size. Also the DB upgrade tool has been improved to provide more info (source code of failed updates) in case of failure.

Federation
Activitypub federation has been improved. We will now deal with profile changes on the fly with platforms that support that kind of messages. Also relaying of comments to activitypub servers has been improved. especially for Friendica and Mastodon which support comment relaying.

Usability
It is now possibly to reset the profile photo to its default. Also the possibility to remove cover photos has been implemented.

2. There are several DB updates which could take some time (depending on DB size) to complete. Please be patient. If updates fail due to server timeout, you will need to apply the failed updates manually.

We are pretty close to branch out Hubzilla 4.2RC. Here is a summary of changes:
