Good day folks,

I've been using Hubzilla for 2 years now for family communication. I really like it!

I'm testing the waters here to see about development, and considering trying to become more involved. I've worked in embedded SW for 15 years, lots of experience with python and C, git, etc, but web devel has only been a hobby up to this point. I've worked in team management the last few years.

I've got some high-level questions:

• Is there a feature roadmap somewhere?
• I believe I found the git project at https://framagit.org/hubzilla/core. Do that project + the channels on this hub constitute all the devel info and traffic?
• How many active developers are there? I'm guessing about 1-4 maybe?
• What does hubzilla need most from potential contributors (like myself)?

I've heard a lot recently about other platforms (esp mastodon) in media, and considered moving content over to something else, but I really think Hz is unique, as if it addresses exactly the things I care about in a platform (great job folks!), and I'd like to see it continue and be successful.

Ad 1) There is no official roadmap. I have a personal roadmap of tasks though...
Ad 2) Right
Ad 3) Yep, about 4 active. Sometimes more, sometimes less
Ad 4) As a starter it might be good to start fixing bugs from here. There are also feature requests among the issues. You can also just start fixing what you think needs to be fixed. It is best to discuss major changes here at this channel first though.
