Hi @Hubzilla Development, I'm looking at the theme system again. This time I want to figure out how much of the generated HTML can be changed through a custom theme and it's template file.

Currently I'm wondering why the navigation dropdown exists twice in the navbar_default.tpl. I have an idea but …

And I wonder what those three variables represent:

I did some trial-and-error but still cannot say which "type" is what.
Any simple explanation?
