So, I set up my seed starting station today as the show fell... Small table with a heat mat, 72 cell seed starting tray, and cheapie LED grow lights on a timer. Getting a start on heirloom tomatoes (Brandywine black, and Tiny Tim), black beans, honeydew, kale, collards, brussel sprouts, red cabbage, broccoli, and butterhead lettuce.
My garlic I planted last fall is starting to come up. This first harvest will probably go directly back into the garden to get a much larger harvest next year. There's also some stray onions I missed coming up in the bed, and my bunching onions are sending up some shoots, too.
I'm still looking to do some more expansion in the garden when conditions allow, but I'm not sure my big project will get started this year 😔
